OUR STORY
The story of Tenuity began with a deeply personal struggle. For many years, one of the founders grappled with undiagnosed symptoms, seeking answers that seemed just out of reach. This pursuit led them into healthcare, where they gained the knowledge and tools to finally self-diagnose. The journey was not just about finding a diagnosis. It was about finding a sense of belonging.
They believed that understanding a diagnosis would lead to a community of individuals who shared similar experiences — offering support, shared wisdom, and a chance to contribute to treatment breakthroughs together. However, it quickly became clear that no simple solution existed to connect patients with the same diagnosis while preserving privacy and anonymity. Even patients in the same neighborhood, visiting the same doctor, might never know they shared the same journey.
Determined to change this, they were fortunate to have supportive people around them who were equally inspired by the vision of transforming the way patients connect. Together, they started Tenuity and embarked on a mission to create a platform that bridges this gap.
